The DNA Analysis Laboratory (UP-NSRI DAL) is one of the four research and extension service laboratories of the Natural Sciences Research Institute of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. The UP-NSRI DAL is mainly composed of dedicated sections designed for the various stages of DNA analysis and research in the field of forensics.

The UP – NSRI DAL is looking for persons to train as RESEARCH ASSOCIATES for 6 months, with the view of a possible minimum 2 year position with the laboratory. We invite qualified candidates to apply for the position.

Qualification requirements:

1. College graduate (BS in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry,Medical Technology,Biochemistry or a related field)
2. Proficient in current Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Applications 
3. Has good communication and writing skills
4. Ability to work independently or with a group

Successful candidates will receive allowance during training in Forensic DNA analysis, and the chance to work with highly-motivated professionals. After the training, the RESEARCH ASSOCIATE will be evaluated for possible invitation to join the DNA Analysis Laboratory team.
